Backend Developer, Node.js, AI II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Operate within the Franchise Back Office ecosystem

• Act as the key point for the creation and enhancement of technological solutions for the Integrated Management (GI) platform

• Create Node.js backend scripts and solutions to bolster the ecosystem and facilitate required integrations

• Allocate around 30% of your time to Python development for the Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) platform

• Implement methodologies such as Spec-Driven Development (SDD) and utilize AI-assisted tools like Cursor and Cloud Code

• Occasionally engage with React to supply information and basic interfaces for the application

• Adhere to software architecture best practices, data structures, and systems communication principles

• Simplify the operational complexity of the management platform for franchisees

• Collaborate with a highly skilled team, technical leaders, and Product Managers to transform business challenges into effective solutions

• Ensure the production of clean, efficient code in alignment with business requirements

• Stay updated on trends in software engineering and Artificial Intelligence tools

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong technical expertise in backend development with significant proficiency in Node.js

• Familiarity with Python for developing and integrating AI-focused scripts and technological solutions

• Basic knowledge of or occasional experience with React to assist with necessary front-end tasks

• Solid technical background in computer science, encompassing data structures and software architecture concepts

• A curious and analytical mindset dedicated to continuous learning and keeping abreast of emerging technologies and development models in the industry

• Capability to independently resolve business challenges through effective technological solutions

• Prior experience with or theoretical understanding of the SDD (Spec-Driven Development) methodology — a plus

• Practical experience with AI development tools such as Cursor, Cloud Code, and LLMs — a plus

• Experience in developing solutions for Franchise, Direct Sales, or Retail ecosystems — a plus
