Backend Developer – .NET, VB6, PostgreSQL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Provide support, maintenance, and enhancement of the service infrastructure to guarantee high availability, scalability, and optimal system performance across all company locations.

• Implement automation and monitoring solutions to boost the efficiency and reliability of production environments.

• Develop and integrate solutions aimed at streamlining operations.

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to address complex issues and roll out new features.

• Diagnose and resolve issues within the company’s environments and systems.

• Proactively monitor and respond to incidents to maintain business stability and continuity.

• Continuously enhance and optimize deployment and CI/CD processes.

• Ensure that DevOps practices are in alignment with business requirements and reliability standards.

• Maintain technical documentation, ensuring it remains up to date and accessible to all teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in programming logic for application support and maintenance.

• Familiarity with API and service development.

• Over 2 years of experience in software development using VB6 and C#.

• Understanding of PostgreSQL and SQL Server databases, with a focus on optimization in high-scale production environments.

• Experience with version control tools, particularly Git, emphasizing collaborative practices and continuous integration.

• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Terraform, or similar infrastructure-as-code tools is advantageous.

• Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably Azure, along with experience in Docker containers, Kubernetes, and monitoring systems like Prometheus and Grafana is a plus.
