Backend Developer, Java/Spring Boot, Camunda 8

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend solutions.

• Implementing and optimizing business processes utilizing Camunda 8.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

• Engaging in technical design discussions and contributing to architectural decisions in software development.

• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Developing and sustaining automated tests to guarantee software quality.

• Actively involved in code reviews and quality assurance initiatives.

• Refining user stories and technical requirements alongside the development team.

• Mentoring and coaching junior developers.

• Preparing technical documentation and presenting new features and solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Java Spring Boot Developer with Camunda 8.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• Experience working in Agile environments with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

• Proficiency in English at C1 level or above (both written and spoken).

• Strong experience with Camunda 8, including the design and implementation of BPMN processes.

• Advanced knowledge of Java 11 or higher.

• Strong expertise in: Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Cloud Config.

• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.

• Experience in designing and developing microservices and service-oriented architectures.

• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs.

• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as: JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber.

• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices and tools.

• A good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Experience working with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
