Backend Developer – Fusion Sustainability Insights

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Autodesk Fusion’s API to access, manipulate, and visualize manufacturing data.

• Design and manage MCP servers that connect sustainability data services and APIs with Autodesk Fusion and other applications.

• Create comprehensive documentation and testing protocols to facilitate maintainability and scalability.

• Engage in design reviews and provide input for UX enhancements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX Design, Research, Product Management, and QA.

• Integrate APIs from third-party vendors on the Autodesk Platform and ensure seamless data flow.

• Develop features that support sustainable design and manufacturing, environmental impact feedback, production optimization, material efficiency, and LCA reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong proficiency in C++ for backend logic development.

• Proficient in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.

• Familiarity with MCP Server architecture and deployment processes.

• Experienced in AI-assisted design and implementation.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Robust technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design principles, and implementations.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
