This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

• Design and improve backend applications utilizing Java and Spring Boot

• Create scalable, secure, and highly available REST APIs

• Develop and enhance microservices-based architectures

• Establish integrations between internal systems and corporate platforms

• Engage in defining technical solutions and making architectural choices

• Maintain code quality through best development practices and code reviews

• Conduct unit tests and support automated testing initiatives

• Investigate and resolve technical challenges in both development and production settings

• Collaborate with Architecture, DevOps, QA, and Mobile Development teams

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, aiding in delivery planning and execution

• Propel continuous enhancements in application architecture, performance, and quality

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related discipline

• Strong background in software engineering, particularly with experience in Java and/or JVM-based languages

• Proven experience in developing and managing systems that utilize Java, microservices, and APIs (Spring Boot, Node.js)

• Understanding of service containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, including AKS, EKS, GKE, and OpenShift)

• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (Nexus, SonarQube, GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, GitHub, and StarTeam)

• Experience with continuous integration, automated deployment processes, unit testing, TDD, BDD, and Agile methodologies (Scrum)

• Knowledge of both private and public cloud environments, such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

• Dedication to producing clean, well-tested, and maintainable code

• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, WebSphere, JBoss, Kafka, Kafka Streams, SQL Server, and Kubernetes

• A collaborative and proactive individual with strong written and verbal communication skills
