Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain services utilizing .NET within a microservice architecture.

• Engage with event-driven systems leveraging Kafka and Temporal for orchestrating workflows.

• Construct and enhance data layers with MongoDB and Redis.

• Deploy services in Kubernetes (k8s) environments.

• Collaborate with product teams from initial concept to production launch.

• Develop frontend components using React as necessary.

• Integrate AI development tools such as Claude Code into your daily development practices.

• Work with MCP servers and implement agentic development workflows.

• Take part in code reviews, architectural discussions, and the ongoing improvement of the platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Significant expertise in .NET/C#.

• Comprehensive working knowledge of Kafka, Redis, MongoDB, and Temporal.

• Experience in constructing and managing microservices deployed on Kubernetes.

• Practical experience with event-driven design patterns.

• Solid understanding of React.

• Familiarity with AI coding tools like Claude Code or OpenAI Codex.

• Experience with MCP servers and agentic development workflows.

• Demonstrated history of collaborating closely with product teams, transforming features from concept to production.

• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

• Experience in ecommerce or supply chain domains (Nice to Have).

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and DevOps practices (Nice to Have).
