This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

• Develop and enhance robust, secure, and healthcare-compliant back-end systems for the digital sleep clinic.

• Design, create, and sustain dependable back-end services utilizing Python, Django, and associated technologies.

• Establish and advance RESTful APIs for front-end, mobile applications, and third-party integrations.

• Monitor, detect, and rectify performance bottlenecks.

• Contribute to the platform’s technical architecture, scalability, maintainability, and resilience.

• Implement and uphold security best practices for sensitive health data and healthcare regulations.

• Automate recurring workflows for medical, billing, and sales teams.

• Expand and support the internal patient management, monitoring, and telehealth platform.

• Integrate external partner APIs and oversee intricate data synchronization.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow developers to deliver healthcare solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of professional experience as a Back-End Developer.

• More than 2 years of practical experience with Python.

• Proficient in Django, including the Django REST framework.

• Familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL.

• Strong grasp of software architecture principles and design patterns.

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging capabilities.

• Ability to function independently and collaboratively in a dynamic startup environment.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Languages: Proficiency in French and English.

• Nice to have: Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
