Back-End Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop application services for accounts, profiles, registrations, saved resources, and dashboard data.

• Execute permissions and established business regulations.

• Collaborate with the integration developer to share information with the Client’s systems.

• Assist in technical delivery and transition processes.

• Be part of a specialized team focused on creating a bilingual digital platform for a nonprofit organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with production web services, API development, databases, and automated testing.

• Knowledge of authentication, single sign-on, authorization, and secure account lifecycle management.

• Familiarity with registration workflows, input validation, reliable identifiers, and duplicate prevention.

• Skills in logging, error handling, performance optimization, and maintainable technical documentation.

• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.

• Must be available to start within a month.

• Preference for candidates located in Canada; candidates from the USA will also be considered.

• Must be available during standard EST business hours.

• Proficient in spoken and written English.

• Fluency in spoken and written French is a significant advantage.

• Relevant experience in delivery, collaborative work, and clear documentation.

• Experience in the nonprofit or education sector is a plus.
