Azure Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, provision, configure, and manage cloud or infrastructure components in accordance with approved architectural patterns.

• Automate repetitive provisioning, deployment, configuration, and operational tasks.

• Implement controls for security, identity, networking, backup, monitoring, and availability.

• Investigate incidents, capacity challenges, vulnerabilities, and performance issues.

• Maintain runbooks, diagrams, standards, and records of changes.

• Collaborate effectively across engineering and operations teams.

• Contribute to the delivery lifecycle by providing reliable and maintainable solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Typically requires 8+ years of experience in a related professional capacity.

• Practical knowledge of Azure resource management, networking, identity, compute, storage, monitoring, automation, and governance.

• Professional experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or systems operations relevant to the position.

• Hands-on expertise with specific cloud, operating-system, container, or automation technologies.

• Understanding of the fundamentals of networking, identity, security, monitoring, and availability.

• Experience with scripting, automation, source control, or infrastructure as code practices.

• Ability to methodically troubleshoot infrastructure and production issues.

• Strong skills in documentation and collaboration across teams.

• Additional hands-on experience in Azure resource management, networking, identity, compute, storage, monitoring, automation, and governance.

• Experience in defining solution architecture, technical standards, and design governance across various teams.

• Familiarity with secure development, accessibility, governance, or regulatory requirements as applicable.

• Relevant professional certifications or advanced training in the technology area pertinent to the role.
