Azure Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Create solutions within Azure Government environments

• Develop comprehensive technical solutions that meet business needs

• Generate architecture diagrams, design documentation, and implementation strategies

• Architect secure cloud-native applications utilizing Azure services

• Incorporate security, identity management, Zero Trust principles, and government compliance into designs

• Design secure AI frameworks and assess or integrate AI functionalities into corporate solutions

• Set technical standards and perform architecture evaluations

• Lead engineering teams to ensure adherence to design specifications

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, and Delivery teams

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in designing solutions for Azure Government environments

• Proficient in networking, security, identity management, compute, and platform services

• Capable of creating end-to-end technical solutions that align with business objectives

• Experience in producing architecture diagrams, design documents, and implementation roadmaps

• Familiarity with Zero Trust, RBAC, MFA, Key Vault, and identity integration techniques

• Knowledge of government compliance frameworks such as NIST, CMMC, and FedRAMP

• Experience with Azure App Services, Functions, API Management, AKS, and integration services

• Understanding of microservices, event-driven architectures, and contemporary application patterns

• Proficient in Azure DevOps/GitHub and CI/CD methodologies

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and automation strategies

• Understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, and Copilot-based solutions

• Experience designing secure AI architectures using Azure AI services and responsible AI principles

• Skill in evaluating AI applications and integrating AI capabilities into corporate solutions

• Ability to establish technical standards and perform architecture reviews

• Proven experience in guiding engineering teams and ensuring design compliance

• Ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, and Delivery teams

• Strong communication and leadership abilities

• Advanced proficiency in English

• Active or past experience in government programs (preferable)

• Azure Architect certifications (preferable)

• Familiarity with Azure Gov, GCC High, or regulated cloud environments (preferable)

• Experience with Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, or AI-enabled application development (preferable)

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise modernization efforts (preferable)
