Azure Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Create solutions within Azure Government environments

• Develop comprehensive technical solutions that meet business requirements

• Generate architecture diagrams, design documentation, and implementation roadmaps

• Design secure AI architectures utilizing Azure AI services and adhere to responsible AI principles

• Assess AI use cases and incorporate AI capabilities into enterprise solutions

• Set technical standards and perform architecture reviews

• Mentor engineering teams and ensure adherence to design specifications

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, and Delivery teams

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in designing solutions for Azure Government environments

• Proficient in networking, security, identity management, compute, and platform services

• Capability to create end-to-end technical solutions that align with business needs

• Experience in producing architecture diagrams, design documents, and implementation roadmaps

• Knowledge of Zero Trust, RBAC, MFA, Key Vault, and identity integration

• Familiarity with government compliance frameworks (NIST, CMMC, FedRAMP)

• Experience using Azure App Services, Functions, API Management, AKS, and integration services

• Understanding of microservices, event-driven architectures, and contemporary application patterns

• Proficient with Azure DevOps/GitHub and CI/CD methodologies

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and automation techniques

• Understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, and Copilot-based solutions

• Experience in designing secure AI architectures with Azure AI services and responsible AI practices

• Ability to evaluate AI use cases and integrate AI functionalities into enterprise solutions

• Capability to establish technical standards and conduct architecture evaluations

• Experience in guiding engineering teams and ensuring design compliance

• Ability to collaborate across Product, Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, and Delivery teams

• Strong communication and leadership abilities

• Proficient in advanced conversational English and Spanish; evaluation will be conducted

• For foreigners living in Mexico, valid INE, CURP, NSS, and RFC are required

• Preferred: experience in active or past government programs

• Preferred: Azure Architect certifications

• Preferred: experience with Azure Gov, GCC High, or regulated cloud environments

• Preferred: experience with Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, or AI-enabled application development

• Preferred: experience in supporting large-scale enterprise modernization projects

• Must reside in Mexico and confirm visa status for work in Mexico
