This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Analyze business and technical requirements for new corporate applications utilizing Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
• Offer architectural recommendations for the secure, scalable, and reliable deployment of internal business platforms and AI-driven solutions.
• Assess and enhance production architectures that include PostgreSQL 16, pgvector, Neo4j, and Docker-based deployment models.
• Provide guidance on infrastructure, security, governance, and cost optimization within the customer's Microsoft cloud environment.
• Assist in designing a secure R&D AI assistant that integrates internal knowledge, quality documentation, SharePoint content, and authorized external publications.
• Establish solution patterns that safeguard confidential know-how and intellectual property while ensuring precise access to technical information.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders and technical experts on implementation strategies, platform suggestions, and future roadmap planning.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of five years of pertinent professional experience.
• Senior-level expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise solution design.
• In-depth understanding of application architecture, cloud security, governance, and cost management within Microsoft cloud environments.
• Experience in designing solutions that incorporate PostgreSQL, containerized deployments, and contemporary platform architecture patterns.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, data platforms, and architectures that support analytics, knowledge retrieval, or AI-driven applications.
• Experience in identity and access management, information security, and safeguarding sensitive data and intellectual property.
• Strong consulting, stakeholder communication, and analytical abilities.
• Authorization to work in Canada is required.
• Ability to perform the role remotely from within Canada.
