Azure Data & AI Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create and deploy cutting-edge data and AI platforms in Azure for both national and international clients.

• Offer technical consulting to clients regarding architecture, governance, and security strategies.

• Assist clients throughout the entire process from assessment to go-live.

• Enhance the data foundation using Databricks and Fabric.

• Advance the AI landing zone utilizing Microsoft Foundry.

• Build Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules and establish standards for the managed service.

• Guarantee stable, current, and cost-effective operation of clients’ platforms.

• Investigate issues in highly automated workflows.

• Participate in professional communities and disseminate data and AI expertise to colleagues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in constructing and managing data lakehouse architectures with Azure Databricks or Microsoft Fabric.

• Hands-on experience with governance, security, and data access protocols.

• Familiarity with AI platforms in Azure, especially Microsoft Foundry and Azure OpenAI.

• Experience with AI agents, knowledge bases, and AI governance frameworks.

• Understanding of Azure PaaS and landing zones.

• Significant experience in Infrastructure as Code, ideally with Terraform or OpenTofu.

• Experience in CI/CD processes, preferably using GitHub.

• Current Microsoft certifications in Azure, data, or AI, or a commitment to acquire them soon.

• Openness to sharing knowledge with team members.

• Excellent communication skills and a passion for engaging with clients and partners.

• Proficient in both German and English languages.
