Azure Cloud Engineer – Solution Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Implement new releases of Azure solutions in customer environments.

• Collaborate with the Dev Squad to plan update cycles.

• Maintain up-to-date customer environments.

• Set up new customer environments, including repository initialization, parameterization, and baseline deployment.

• Manage batch tickets across various customer environments, addressing security findings, workflow modifications, and configuration updates.

• Thoroughly document all changes made.

• Analyze and troubleshoot issues in automated deployment and update processes, or escalate them to the Dev Squad as needed.

• Address tickets within the managed service.

• Assist the squad’s architects with ongoing technical tasks.

• Standardize and automate repetitive processes.

• Document and disseminate insights from rollouts and updates within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS.

• Knowledge of Azure Landing Zone architecture.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform or OpenTofu.

• Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub.

• Basic understanding of Azure networking and security, including Private Endpoints, DNS, Entra ID, RBAC, and Azure Policy.

• A meticulous, organized, and process-driven work ethic.

• Willingness to obtain current Microsoft Azure certifications.

• Openness to adopting new technologies.

• Comfortable using AI tools in daily tasks.

• Strong communication skills in both German and English.

• Involvement in customer interactions as part of the role.

• Readiness to engage in routine tasks and repetitive processes.
