This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Direct and oversee comprehensive project planning and execution for AWS cloud migration and network modernization projects.
β’ Take ownership of the delivery for extensive cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
β’ Collaborate with cloud engineers, network architects, and security teams to design and implement secure AWS network environments.
β’ Manage hybrid connectivity between on-premises data centers and AWS GovCloud.
β’ Lead schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder management across complex multi-account AWS environments.
β’ Create and maintain integrated master schedules, work breakdown structures, and resource plans.
β’ Plan and execute the transition from data center to cloud, sequencing network, security, and application dependencies.
β’ Oversee communications with government program offices, including status updates, risk assessments, and issue escalations.
β’ Monitor risks, issues, and action items while implementing mitigation strategies.
β’ Ensure all deliverables and processes comply with federal security regulations.
β’ Manage project scope, change control, and documentation processes.
β’ Facilitate agile ceremonies and traditional milestone reviews.
β’ Assist with budget tracking, resource allocation, and invoicing coordination.
β’ Prepare executive-level briefings and status reports for government stakeholders and leadership from VSO.
β’ Over 7 years of professional experience in project management, with a focus on IT, cloud infrastructure, or network modernization programs.
β’ Proven experience in managing large-scale AWS cloud migration or modernization projects.
β’ Familiarity with hybrid on-premises to AWS GovCloud environments.
β’ Experience coordinating cloud engineers, network architects, and security teams in a matrixed program setup.
β’ Working knowledge of VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and hybrid connectivity solutions.
β’ Demonstrated capability in managing project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and stakeholder communications on federal or DoD programs.
β’ Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code delivery practices, such as Terraform or CloudFormation, is beneficial.
β’ Experience with both agile and traditional/waterfall project management methodologies in a federal contracting context.
β’ PMP certification is preferred but not mandatory.
β’ Top Secret clearance is required.
β’ Willingness to travel every 1-2 months.
β’ U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
