This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.
• Development and maintenance of ETL/ELT pipelines on AWS.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting of pipelines and AWS services.
• Management and assurance of the integrity of the Glue Data Catalog.
• Automation of data processing tasks.
• Close collaboration with the Data Lake team for efficient data solutions.
• Technical advisory in data management on AWS.
• Participation in defining the architecture for data solutions.
• Implementation of new technologies and cloud data services.
• Optimization of data processes in the AWS cloud.
• Ensuring efficiency, scalability, and security of data operations.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with AWS cloud.
• AWS Associate level certification.
• Knowledge of ETL tools.
• Experience with Data Warehousing (DWH) and Data Lakes.
• Proficiency in data manipulation languages, such as SQL, PySpark, and Python.
• Skills in orchestrating and automating workflows.
• Experience with DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in version control using Git.
• Experience with data visualization tools.
• Preferred: AWS Certified Data Engineer - Associate.
• Preferred: Apache Spark with AWS Glue and/or AWS Lambda.
• Preferred: Knowledge of AWS Lake Formation / AWS Redshift / Databricks.
• Preferred: Experience with AWS Step Functions.
• Preferred: Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation.
• Preferred: Experience with Amazon Quicksight.
