This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and enhance the operational rhythm of the CIO Office, which includes leadership meetings, strategic reviews, planning sessions, quarterly checkpoints, and governance forums.
• Manage scheduling, preparation, and follow-up for executive meetings and organizational obligations.
• Create agendas, executive briefing documents, speaking points, pre-reads, decision-support materials, presentations, dashboards, scorecards, and strategic planning documents.
• Keep action logs, decision registers, commitment trackers, and follow-up systems updated.
• Collaborate with CIO direct reports and stakeholders to ensure timely decision-making and commitment fulfillment.
• Take charge of the preparation, coordination, and quality assurance of Technology & Delivery KPI reports.
• Integrate departmental KPI submissions into presentations and dashboards suitable for executives; assess trends, risks, and strategic implications.
• Convert CIO and credit union priorities into actionable themes, milestones, owners, and success metrics.
• Manage the Technology Governance framework and governance forums, including the creation of agendas, materials, decisions, minutes, and action tracking.
• Organize Executive Steering Committees and strategic review meetings.
• Collaborate with PMO leadership to enhance portfolio transparency, prioritization, escalation processes, and governance maturity.
• Identify dependencies, execution risks, resource conflicts, and unresolved decisions that need leadership's attention.
• Assist in the development of annual operating plans, quarterly planning, strategic reviews, and leadership goal-setting.
• Perform research, analysis, benchmarking, and synthesis to support executive recommendations and organizational decisions.
• Compose executive communications, leadership updates, briefing notes, organizational summaries, and concise executive narratives.
• Prepare the CIO for interactions with the CEO, Board, and peers, representing CIO intent in selected delegated forums.
• Foster accountability for leadership commitments, action items, operational reviews, and follow-up tasks.
• Filter, triage, and resolve cross-functional issues; manage escalations and ensure closure.
• Lead or coordinate internal technology initiatives, including AI governance, data management, knowledge management, digital banking, PMO maturity, technology governance, and organizational effectiveness.
• 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in technology operations, business operations, strategy, PMO leadership, management consulting, governance, transformation, portfolio management, or executive office operations is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, technology management, information systems, organizational leadership, finance, or a related field is preferred.
• An MBA or another relevant graduate degree is preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered as a substitute for the stated qualifications.
• Experience supporting senior executives, executive leadership teams, governance forums, change management, and enterprise-level decision-making is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in preparing executive presentations, KPI decks, board-level materials, dashboards, scorecards, or strategic planning documents is strongly preferred.
• Experience in financial services, credit unions, banking, technology, consulting, or regulated environments is preferred.
• Ability to clarify ambiguity into coherent narratives, options, and decision frameworks.
• Capability to design operating cadence, monitor commitments, and influence outcomes.
• Understanding of technology delivery, service operations, governance, and risk management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, influence, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to connect technology operations, governance, strategic priorities, and organizational outcomes.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, executives, and cross-functional activities in a dynamic environment.
• A high degree of discretion, judgment, professionalism, confidentiality, and executive presence is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and collaboration platforms is required.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Smartsheet, Jira, ServiceNow, portfolio tools, or dashboarding platforms is preferred.
• Capacity to learn quickly, adapt to changes, communicate effectively, and collaborate across all levels while making sound decisions.
• Must be able to use computers extensively, up to eight hours per day.
• Must be able to communicate and present via telephone and digital tools such as Zoom and Teams.
• Occasionally able to push, pull, or carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
