
AVP, Equipment Management – Valuation Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct research and analysis on equipment to create assessments of residual and collateral values for proposed transactions.
• Compile written valuation reports and conclusions for internal credit and approval evaluations.
• Evaluate market data and industry trends to aid in valuation, residual, and underwriting decisions.
• Monitor asset performance and residual risk within assigned portfolios.
• Oversee the return, storage, inspection, repair, marketing, and sale of off-lease equipment.
• Enhance portfolio value through remarketing, renewal, and early termination opportunities.
• Build and sustain relationships with external appraisers, remarketers, and industry partners.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on valuation assumptions, credit policies, and lease documentation standards.
• Provide valuation updates, portfolio analyses, and asset-related reports for management.
• Maintain professional expertise through ongoing education and industry training.
• Ensure adherence to departmental policies, procedures, and audit standards.
• Follow established policies and procedures diligently.
• Carry out additional duties and projects as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience in equipment management.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 5+ years of practical asset management experience in a financial institution or operating lessor.
• Demonstrated expertise and knowledge across a diverse range of equipment types and lease structures.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and precision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including the capacity to present valuation findings clearly and convincingly.
• Proficient in financial calculators and software such as Supertrump, TValue, and Microsoft Office.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• ASA (American Society of Appraisers) designation or active candidate status for certification is preferred.
• Must perform responsibilities in compliance with U.S. state and federal laws and regulations.
