This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +2 more states.
• Spearhead the implementation of Lean Transformation initiatives along with continuous improvement practices and routines.
• Oversee assessments of current and future states, implementation strategies, and evaluate the impact and value of changes.
• Cultivate and maintain partnerships to gain insights into business challenges and priorities.
• Employ Lean methodologies and problem-solving tools to generate insights and solutions.
• Promote the consistent application of Lean standards in Value Stream or Function delivery.
• Guarantee the successful execution of agreed standard work consistently.
• Facilitate training and problem-solving workshops with senior management and teams.
• Mentor senior leaders as sponsors of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Guide leaders, managers, and teams in practices, routines, tools, and techniques to maintain continuous improvement.
• Assist teams in identifying, prioritizing, and establishing performance standards.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
• Experience in Lean Transformation.
• Strong operational and analytical thinking capabilities.
• Excellent communication, listening, and facilitation skills.
• Knowledge of the insurance sector and a robust business acumen.
• Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• High Emotional Quotient and professionalism.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Lean management leader showcasing success in leading comprehensive transformational change.
• Experience in financial services or insurance sectors, with a grasp of operational management practices being preferred.
• Lean or equivalent certification, or experience in applying continuous improvement principles within service environments or organizations.
• Proven success in developing and/or implementing Lean or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to interpret data and measure performance effectively.
• Skill in managing shifting priorities and using sound judgment in challenging circumstances.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with a focus on detail when creating presentations for senior leaders.
• In-depth knowledge and practical application of change management principles, practices, methodologies, and tools.
• Exceptional presentation, written, and verbal communication abilities, with the talent to craft compelling messages for varied audiences.
• Strong capacity to facilitate, instruct, and coach diverse groups.
• Competence in collaborative teamwork and delivering effective consulting and coaching.
• High integrity and the ability to manage confidential matters and sensitive situations discreetly.
• Proficiency in project and program management.
• Proficiency in data mining and analysis.
• A Bachelor's degree with relevant experience or a Master's in a related discipline is required; work experience may substitute for educational qualifications.
• Professional Lean Certification is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel 40%-50%.
