This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Manage the daily administration of borrowing base facilities and oversee collateral monitoring processes.
• Evaluate and validate borrowing base certificates, availability calculations, and related collateral reports.
• Supervise advance requests, repayments, cash dominion activities, and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
• Maintain ABL systems, operational controls, procedures, and related reporting obligations.
• Create and refine operational workflows and best practices for the expanding ABL platform.
• Track borrower performance, collateral trends, covenant adherence, and overall credit quality.
• Lead the preparation and approval of annual reviews, renewals, amendments, and portfolio evaluations.
• Review field examinations, appraisals, collateral audits, and other third-party reports.
• Identify and escalate potential credit risks and portfolio issues.
• Assist in the underwriting of new ABL transactions and credit applications.
• Analyze financial statements, collateral performance, industry trends, and borrower operating patterns.
• Help structure credit facilities, set advance rates, reserves, and monitoring requirements.
• Support due diligence, closing, and onboarding processes.
• Contribute to the development of ABL policies, procedures, training materials, and technology implementation initiatives.
• Act as a subject matter expert in collateral administration and operational controls.
• Aid in mentoring and training team members as the platform grows.
• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is required.
• Over 5 years of experience in asset-based lending, collateral administration, portfolio management, underwriting, or related commercial lending fields.
• Solid understanding of borrowing base lending structures, collateral evaluation, and portfolio oversight.
• Experience with ABL technology platforms and reporting systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Suite and capable of learning and working with other Customers Bank applications.
• Familiar with AI and automation tools that enhance productivity, workflow efficiency, and client engagement.
