This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide guidance to clients on innovative technology and content to assist them in making informed decisions.
• Suggest relevant strategies and collaborate with customers to develop implementation and migration plans.
• Advise, write, and oversee airport planning and design efforts for master plans, airport layout plans, and/or airspace integration projects.
• Understand the needs and operations of clients and their businesses.
• Work together with the National Aviation Services Operations team and aviation personnel to achieve practice objectives.
• Contribute to the growth of Aviation Planning, AAM applications, and other consulting services by cultivating and supporting opportunities for business and contracts.
• Foster partnerships with aviation industry consultants to secure and execute projects.
• Cultivate and maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and regulations, including strategic collaborations within the industry.
• Uphold a thought-leader/Subject Matter Expert status through writing articles and presenting at regional conferences.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure effective project execution, quality assurance, client satisfaction, financial success, and overall team/office morale.
• Oversee, track, and forecast backlog, profit and loss, sales, net revenue, utilization, continuing education, and non-billable travel and expenses.
• Lead and support proposal development, shortlist presentations, and white papers, and engage in client contract discussions.
• Conduct quality reviews of project documentation from work plans to final deliverables.
• An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or at least 5+ years of related professional experience.
• Expertise in aviation as a Subject Matter Expert in areas such as Airport Layout Plans, Airport Master Plans, instrument approaches, pavements, facility planning studies, or site development.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities in a dynamic setting.
• Willingness to travel to client locations, conferences, and other Woolpert offices.
• Proven capability to organize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Ability to swiftly adapt and respond to industry shifts as well as internal initiatives.
• Candidates must have existing work authorization in the United States; Woolpert cannot provide visa sponsorship.
