AV Product Line Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the strategy and implementation of NETGEAR Enterprise’s AV-over-IP product line, which includes switches, software, and management systems.

• Guide the AV Managed Switch and Pro AV product offerings from initial concept and validation to launch and ongoing improvements.

• Establish the long-term vision for the product and maintain the product roadmap.

• Develop pricing strategies and forecasting while prioritizing based on data analysis, discipline, and sound judgment.

• Create Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, and functional specifications.

• Balance technical limitations with user requirements.

• Collaborate with marketing, manufacturing, sales, AV partner manufacturers, and support teams for product launches and feature rollouts.

• Represent and harmonize the interests of engineering, channel partners, and global clientele.

• Influence technical architecture and engage in engineering discussions regarding AV protocols, features, and integrations.

• Deliver updates on the roadmap, product value, and outcomes to executives and global functional leaders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of product management experience, preferably in AV-over-IP, networking devices, or management platforms.

• Proven history of successfully launching products in technically complex and user-experience-focused AV markets.

• Strong writing abilities for PRDs, user stories, Market Requirement Documents (MRDs), and business cases.

• Technical proficiency in AV protocols, multicast, QoS, PTP, ST2110, device integration, and orchestration software.

• Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to influence Engineering, QA, and Marketing teams.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.

• Experience at a top-tier AV-over-IP company is preferred.

• Background in network engineering, systems engineering, or user experience for AV ecosystems is preferred.

• An MBA, CCNA, or CCNP certification is a plus.
