📋 Description

• Ensure the autonomous platform is reliable enough to be trusted for autonomous actions.

• Strengthen agent dispatch by implementing circuit breakers, accurate retry mechanisms, health-aware routing, and robust error handling that surfaces failures.

• Incorporate a caching layer along with an event-streaming architecture.

• Determine whether to maintain the current setup, transition to Kubernetes, or opt for a hybrid orchestration strategy, and carry out the chosen approach.

• Implement infrastructure as code and enhance deployment methodologies.

• Refactor the system for per-session isolation to ensure safe concurrent agent executions.

• Establish standards for service scaffolding, testing strategies, continuous integration, and platform observability.

• Participate in Systems and SRE rotations.

• Act as the technical deputy and make decisions in the absence of the Chief Architect.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in delivering and fortifying complex distributed systems as a hands-on senior engineer.

• Proven experience in transitioning a rapidly developed system to production reliability, encompassing idempotency, circuit breaking, backpressure, and observable degradation.

• Proficiency in both Python and Java.

• Familiarity with backend services, data infrastructure, and deployment processes.

• Sound judgment regarding orchestration and scaling based on operating systems principles.

• Experience with Kubernetes at a production scale, event streaming, and continuous integration at scale is a plus.
