Automotive Technology Division Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop the global product roadmap to create new revenue opportunities and enhance client retention.

• Oversee and mentor specialized automotive technology research teams.

• Spearhead initiatives for gathering customer insights and conducting market research.

• Identify unfulfilled customer requirements and convert them into practical product features.

• Manage the P&L for the product portfolio.

• Contribute to shaping the global sales strategy and enhancing market penetration.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, research, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product delivery and market presence.

• Supervise global, multidisciplinary research teams focused on connected cars, electronics, chassis, ADAS, infotainment, and interior systems.

• Support existing products while conceptualizing and developing new products, taking accountability for global revenue and product strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 12 years of experience in automotive technology and/or automotive planning within an OEM, supplier, market research firm, or consulting agency.

• Experience in OEM feature planning is advantageous.

• Extensive knowledge of the automotive ecosystem.

• Comprehension of the interconnectivity among various automotive systems and subsystems.

• Proven ability to distill research insights into impactful thought leadership.

• Demonstrated track record of managing global, cross-functional teams.

• Experience with P&L or revenue responsibilities.

• Exceptional executive presentation skills with the capability to craft and deliver clear, structured narratives for senior leadership and stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Product Management, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Willingness to travel approximately 15 to 35% of the time.
