This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Formulate and execute sales strategies aimed at acquiring and retaining automotive dealer clients.
• Establish and nurture relationships with dealership owners and key decision-makers.
• Identify opportunities for portfolio growth by presenting financing solutions and promoting the offerings of Westlake Flooring Company.
• Conduct market research to stay competitive and align services with industry trends.
• Oversee the servicing of the automotive floorplan portfolio to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Monitor account performance and proactively resolve client issues and concerns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve the customer experience.
• Provide training and support to dealerships regarding financing solutions and services.
• Assess dealership conditions and performance.
• Develop and maintain risk-assessment models to evaluate the creditworthiness of dealerships.
• Work with internal teams to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Monitor portfolio performance, including loan balances, dealer performance, and payment trends.
• Bilingual (English, Spanish).
• Familiarity with the automotive industry across various sectors.
• Strong financial acumen with a solid understanding of key financial tools and terminology.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and collaborate with internal and external partners at various organizational levels.
• Exceptional time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient negotiation and collection skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of working independently and in a remote setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• BA/BS in a relevant field with 3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in finance, sales, account management, and/or collections is required.
• Willingness to travel over 75%, including some overnight travel.
• Ability to travel, fly, and drive.
• Capability to sit and stand for extended periods.
• A valid driver’s license is required for this role.
