This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Develop and execute sales strategies aimed at acquiring and retaining dealer clients in the automotive industry.
• Establish and nurture relationships with dealership owners and key decision-makers to assess their financing needs.
• Identify opportunities for portfolio expansion by presenting financing options and promoting the offerings of Westlake Flooring Company.
• Perform market research to maintain a competitive edge and align services with industry trends.
• Supervise the servicing of the automotive floorplan portfolio, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
• Track account performance and proactively resolve client issues or concerns.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance the customer experience.
• Provide training and support to dealerships regarding financing solutions and services.
• Monitor dealership conditions and performance metrics.
• Develop and sustain risk assessment models to evaluate the creditworthiness of dealerships.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
• Oversee portfolio performance, including loan balances, dealer performance, and payment trends.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Familiarity with the automotive industry across various sectors.
• Strong financial acumen with a solid understanding of essential financial tools and terminology.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities, enabling effective interaction with clients and collaboration with internal teams and external partners at various organizational levels.
• Strong time management skills, with the capacity to meet deadlines efficiently.
• Proficient negotiation and collections skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• BA/BS in a related field with 3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in finance, sales, account management, and/or collections is required.
• Willingness to travel over 25% of the time, including some overnight trips.
• Capability to travel by air and drive as needed.
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
• A valid driver’s license is required for this position.
