This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Formulate and execute sales strategies aimed at acquiring and retaining dealer clients in the automotive industry.
• Establish and nurture relationships with dealership owners and key decision-makers to comprehend their financing requirements.
• Identify opportunities for portfolio expansion by presenting financing solutions and showcasing Westlake Flooring Company’s offerings.
• Conduct market analysis to stay competitive and align services with current industry trends.
• Supervise the servicing of the automotive floorplan portfolio while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Monitor account performance and proactively resolve any client issues or concerns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve the customer experience.
• Deliver training and support to dealerships regarding financing solutions and services.
• Keep track of dealership conditions and performance metrics.
• Develop and maintain risk assessment models to evaluate the creditworthiness of dealerships.
• Work with internal teams to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
• Oversee portfolio performance, including loan balances, dealer performance, and payment trends.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish).
• Familiarity with the automotive industry across various sectors.
• Strong financial acumen with a solid understanding of key financial tools and terminology.
• Exceptional presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with clients and collaborating with internal team members and external partners at various organizational levels.
• Strong time management abilities with a knack for meeting deadlines.
• Proficient negotiation and collection skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a remote setting.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• BA/BS in a related field and three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Two or more years of related experience in finance, sales, account management, and/or collections required.
• Willingness to travel more than 75%, including some overnight trips.
• Capability to travel, fly, and drive as needed.
• Ability to sit and stand for extended durations.
• Valid driver’s license is required for this role.
