This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Develop and execute sales strategies aimed at acquiring and retaining dealer clients within the automotive industry.
• Establish and nurture relationships with dealership owners and key decision-makers to understand their financing requirements.
• Discover opportunities for portfolio growth by presenting financing options and promoting Westlake Flooring Company’s offerings.
• Perform market research to stay competitive and align services with industry trends.
• Supervise the servicing of the automotive floorplan portfolio and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Monitor account performance and proactively address any client issues or concerns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve customer experience.
• Offer training and support to dealerships on financing solutions and services.
• Assess dealership conditions and performance continually.
• Develop and maintain risk assessment models to evaluate the creditworthiness of dealerships.
• Work with internal teams to guarantee compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Oversee portfolio performance, including loan balances, dealer performance, and payment trends.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Familiarity with the automotive industry across various sectors.
• Strong financial acumen with a working knowledge of essential financial tools and terminology.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with clients, collaborate with internal team members, and engage with external partners at various organizational levels.
• Exceptional time management skills with the capability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient negotiation and collection skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a remote setting.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• BA/BS in a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• At least 2 years of related experience in finance, sales, account management, and/or collections required.
• Willingness to travel over 25%, including some overnight trips.
• Capability to travel, fly, and drive as needed.
• Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods.
• A valid driver’s license is required for this role.
