Automation QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain test automation for desktop and mobile applications focusing on essential user journeys.

• Incorporate tests into CI/CD workflows while ensuring they remain efficient and dependable.

• Analyze test failures, resolve unstable tests, and handle test data and environments.

• Document clear and reproducible bugs, and validate fixes.

• Collaborate with developers and product teams to enhance testability and establish acceptance criteria.

• Conduct hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing for new features.

• Determine whether to utilize manual or automated testing based on risk assessment.

• Oversee the maintenance of regression test suites.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in QA automation.

• Proven experience in manual and exploratory testing.

• Proficient programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript.

• Familiarity with executing tests in CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions.

• Practical experience with Playwright for desktop or web applications.

• Hands-on experience with WebdriverIO and Appium for mobile testing.

• Background in testing Electron and/or React Native applications.

• Experience testing on actual iOS and Android devices.

• Knowledge of using AI tools in QA and the ability to critically evaluate their outputs.

• Proficient English communication skills.
