Automation QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Automate end-to-end (E2E), user interface (UI), and application programming interface (API) tests for a microservice-oriented web platform.

• Conduct functional testing and create test cases derived from user stories.

• Validate features across the UI, API, and database.

• Test integrations with Salesforce and HubSpot CRM.

• Analyze nightly regression outcomes and investigate any failures.

• Identify root causes, rectify broken tests, enhance test stability, and report defects.

• Facilitate releases through regression testing and validation of critical functionalities.

• Maintain and enhance the test automation framework and GitLab CI pipelines.

• Utilize Claude AI tools to optimize routine quality assurance (QA) tasks.

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and product teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.

• Keep abreast of testing best practices and emerging technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in test automation for web applications, encompassing both UI and API.

• Proficient in Java with practical experience using Selenide or Selenium.

• Experience in testing RESTful APIs.

• Working knowledge of SQL (MySQL).

• Experience in testing applications based on microservices.

• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

• Ability to independently troubleshoot automation issues and maintain stable test suites.

• Intermediate English proficiency is an advantage.

• Experience with Cucumber / Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) is a plus.

• Practical use of AI assistants in QA tasks is a plus.

• Experience with Salesforce or HubSpot CRM, including APIs and integrations, is a plus.

• Familiarity with Google BigQuery is a plus.

• Experience in UI performance testing is a plus.
