Automation QA Engineer – 100% remote

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain test automation for both desktop and mobile platforms focusing on essential user interactions.

• Seamlessly integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring they are efficient and dependable.

• Analyze test failures, resolve unstable tests, and oversee test data and environments.

• Document clear and reproducible bugs and confirm resolutions.

• Collaborate with developers and product teams to enhance testability and establish acceptance criteria.

• Engage in hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of newly introduced features.

• Determine whether to utilize manual or automated testing based on assessed risks.

• Manage and update regression test suites.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in QA automation.

• Proficient in hands-on manual and exploratory testing.

• Strong programming abilities in TypeScript/JavaScript.

• Experience executing tests within CI/CD frameworks, including GitHub Actions.

• Practical experience with Playwright for desktop or web applications.

• Hands-on knowledge of WebdriverIO and Appium for mobile testing.

• Familiarity with testing Electron and/or React Native applications.

• Experience conducting tests on actual iOS and Android devices.

• Proficient in utilizing AI tools in QA and critically evaluating their results.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Experience with testing AI-driven applications is an advantage.
