Automation Engineer II, Falcon Complete

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain security automation workflows and playbooks within SOAR platforms.

• Create PowerShell and Python scripts for security enhancement, remediation, and fundamental forensic tasks.

• Incorporate SIEM queries into automated processes.

• Support the execution of AI workflows.

• Utilize JSON and Regular Expressions for manipulating security data.

• Collaborate with SOC analysts and engineering teams to pinpoint automation opportunities.

• Collect feedback from Falcon Complete SOC analysts.

• Manage version control using Git platforms.

• Enhance operational efficiency and analyst productivity.

• Assess new SOAR, automation, and AI technologies for MDR operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of experience in automation, scripting, or cybersecurity.

• Strong proficiency in PowerShell for security investigation and response activities.

• Practical knowledge of Python for automation and API integration.

• Basic familiarity with SIEM query languages and security analytics.

• Knowledge of JSON and Regular Expressions for data parsing.

• Understanding of incident detection and response processes in SOC/MDR settings.

• Experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.

• Proven experience in utilizing AI technologies to improve decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, enhance efficiency, and drive business results.

• BA or BS / MA or MS degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent work experience and/or training in lieu of a degree.
