This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Oversee claims management in strict compliance with state-specific insurance regulations and K2 Claims' Best Practices.

• Handle first- and third-party auto property damage as well as third-party liability claims, including lower exposure general liability cases.

• Manage claims from the point of assignment through to their resolution.

• Assign and direct appraisers, review estimates and supplements, evaluate total losses, and resolve claims related to loss of use and rental.

• Supervise lower exposure litigated cases, which includes referring cases to legal counsel, establishing litigation plans and budgets, and granting settlement authority.

• Assess policy coverage and prepare reservation of rights and/or coverage declination letters.

• Compile reports for senior management and clients concerning claim status, recommended reserves, and strategic action plans.

• Negotiate settlements within the designated authority.

• Evaluate risk transfer options and ascertain insurance priority.

• Identify and refer suitable claims to subrogation or the Special Investigation Unit (SIU).


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial and/or personal lines liability is preferred.

• At least 1 year of general liability experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Prior experience in a Third-Party Administrator (TPA) or insurance carrier setting, managing a range of programs.

• Capability to obtain and maintain all necessary state adjuster licenses.

• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong emphasis on customer service.

• Willingness to travel occasionally for business-related training, mediations, and/or trials.
