This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +2 more states.
• Manage field appraisal tasks for corporate fleets and insurance clients, focusing primarily on automobiles.
• Schedule same-day appointments, inspect vehicles within a 24-hour timeframe, and generate estimates on-site.
• Produce between 6 to 10 estimates daily, varying by location.
• Ensure thorough vehicle disassembly.
• Establish repair time estimates and necessary labor operations.
• Make precise decisions regarding repairs or replacements.
• Evaluate and incorporate pre-existing damage and conduct accurate total-loss assessments.
• Negotiate agreed-upon prices with decision-makers at repair shops and establish time-sensitive expected completion dates in accordance with client guidelines.
• Review and evaluate the legitimacy of supplement requests.
• Provide clients with detailed vehicle repair-cost estimates and clarify the claims and repair processes.
• Maintain precise vehicle repair-cost estimates.
• Negotiate upfront fees for towing, disassembly, and storage for vehicles deemed financial total losses.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to all parties involved in the claims process.
• Support the quality-assurance team and perform desk appraisal work when not engaged in field assignments.
• Carry out other responsibilities as directed by management.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred, though not mandatory.
• A minimum of four (4) years of experience in insurance or body shop environments is required.
• Strong technical knowledge of auto appraisals.
• Familiarity with client operations and labor regulations.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with personal computers, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Possess analytical and interpretive abilities.

• Experience with CCC One is preferred.
• Must be able to obtain a state appraisal license within 30 days of hire.
• Reliable transportation is necessary for travel to designated work locations.
