Auto Damage Trainee – Field

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and analyze damage to vehicles

• Provide estimates for repair expenses

• Negotiate fair settlements

• Collaborate with body shops, rental services, and parts suppliers

• Consult with all parties involved and examine insurance policies

• Inspect vehicles and prepare estimates

• Oversee rental car processes

• Address customer issues and ensure a satisfactory experience

• Enhance customer satisfaction through impactful interactions

• Complete 3 weeks of mandatory hands-on training at GEICO’s facility in Ashburn, VA, followed by 2 weeks at a field training center located in NY, TX, or CA

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred customer-facing experience

• Experience in high-volume call centers with KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and measurable objectives is preferred

• Active Adjusters license is preferred

• High School Diploma or GED is required; a college degree is preferred

• A valid driver’s license that complies with company underwriting standards is required

• Strong skills in customer service, interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and empathy

• Must be adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritizing and multitasking across various platforms

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required
