
Auto Damage Trainee – Field

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Examine and evaluate vehicle damage
• Calculate repair costs for vehicles
• Negotiate fair settlements
• Collaborate with body shops, rental agencies, and parts suppliers
• Consult with relevant parties and review insurance agreements
• Inspect vehicles and create repair estimates
• Oversee rental vehicle management
• Address customer concerns
• Enhance customer satisfaction through impactful interactions
• Complete necessary hands-on training at the Ashburn, VA training facility and field training center
• Preferred customer-facing experience
• Experience in high-volume call centers with KPIs and measurable objectives preferred
• Preferred active Adjusters license
• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
• Valid driver's license that aligns with company underwriting standards required
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, problem-solving, and empathy skills
• Must be adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritizing and multitasking across various platforms
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• GEICO will not sponsor new applicants for employment authorization for this position
