This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +27 more states.
β’ Conduct high-volume outbound calls to investigate, bill, and enhance payments on medical claims for hospitals and healthcare providers.
β’ Research and analyze auto accident information to identify the appropriate payer.
β’ Make outbound calls to patients, representatives from insurance companies, and attorneys.
β’ Submit invoices and necessary documentation to insurance firms.
β’ Ensure maximization of payments for medical-provider clients.
β’ Identify follow-up actions and resubmit invoices for additional payments when initial submissions are not processed correctly.
β’ Assist in creating denial reports, audits, and provide overall team support.
β’ Maintain productivity and accuracy standards within a high-volume call-center setting.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
β’ Skilled in using multiple computer screens and software applications simultaneously.
β’ Ability to sustain strong performance in a dynamic, high-volume outbound call center environment with specific productivity metrics.
β’ Capable of staying organized while multitasking.
β’ Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Experience with Coordination of Benefits and a general understanding of insurance billing is advantageous, but not mandatory.
