This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Assess repair estimates associated with vehicle breakdowns.
• Confirm coverage eligibility and ascertain if repairs fall under customers’ Vehicle Service Contracts.
• Negotiate and resolve straightforward and occasionally moderately complex claims.
• Examine claim files, assess damage, capture photographs, and decide on reparability or total loss.
• Generate damage estimates and source parts for claims.
• Negotiate settlements for claims.
• Record details in claim files, including notes, evaluations, and decision-making processes.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
• Operate as an individual contributor without supervisory responsibilities.
• Entry-level resource for adjudicating VSC mechanical claims in accordance with quality and timeliness standards.
• Strong background in automotive or mechanical fields.
• Comfortable assessing vehicle repairs and estimates.
• Experience or knowledge in adjudication, auto collision repair, automotive repair, car maintenance, claims processing, customer service, customer support, de-escalation, documentation, negotiation, vehicle repairs, and vehicle servicing.
• Must pass a background investigation.
• Must have a dedicated, private home workspace that is free from distractions.
• Suitable desk and seating arrangements when working remotely.
• Reliable internet connection with a minimum of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload speeds.
