Audiologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver remote diagnostic audiology services to collaborating ENT practices.

• Collaborate with an onsite Medical Assistant or equivalent personnel.

• Conduct thorough audiology assessments, which include pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, video otoscopy, and immittance testing.

• Carry out the initial fitting of air conduction hearing devices.

• Partner with ENT clinic staff to offer diagnostic audiology services as instructed by the ENT group.

• Provide guidance on the use and care of air conduction hearing aids.

• Employ advanced diagnostic equipment to evaluate and analyze auditory function.

• Record notes in the ENT Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and generate reports as necessary.

• Suggest subsequent audiology actions to the ENT.

• Clearly and empathetically communicate assessment results to patients.

• Document patient interactions and ensure precise electronic medical records are maintained.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Audiology from an accredited institution.

• State licensure and certification as a Diagnostic Audiologist.

• Preferred experience with telehealth technology and remote patient care.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Capability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.

• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
