Audio Transcription Reviewer, Cantonese – Part-time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Examine completed Cantonese-English audio transcriptions to ensure they are accurate and comprehensive

• Validate audio segmentation and speaker identification

• Detect and rectify errors in transcription, segmentation, and formatting

• Guarantee that healthcare terminology is accurately transcribed where relevant

• Adhere to project guidelines to sustain consistent quality standards

• Raise concerns about unclear or complex cases when necessary

• Collaborate with the Project Manager for any needed clarifications

• Fulfill assigned batches within the project timeline

⛳️ Requirements

• Project duration of approximately 2 months (July–September 2026)

• Compulsory onboarding training during office hours, GMT+8

• Proficient in spoken Cantonese

• Capable of reading and writing in Traditional Chinese

• Knowledgeable about the Hong Kong Cantonese accent

• Comfortable reviewing Cantonese-English dialogues that include code-switching and occasional English medical terminology

• Proficient in English for effective project communication and comprehension of project guidelines

• Strong attention to detail and skill in identifying transcription and segmentation mistakes

• Familiarity with using a Cantonese Jyutping keyboard

• Able to consistently adhere to detailed project guidelines

• Access to a laptop or desktop computer, a headset, and a reliable internet connection

• Preferred experience in reviewing transcriptions, subtitles, or language-related content

• A background in healthcare or knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous

• Previous experience in transcription, quality control, data annotation, localization, or AI language projects is a plus
