Audio Transcription Reviewer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Examine pre-segmented audio recordings.

• Confirm the accuracy of word-level segments.

• Rectify any errors in timestamps or transcriptions.

• Listen to brief audio clips and evaluate automatically generated word-level segments.

• Ensure that segment boundaries correspond with the actual onset and offset of speech.

• Review and correct inaccurate start and end timestamps.

• Identify and flag tasks for removal based on established criteria, such as unintelligible audio, off-target language, sensitive content, and absence of voice activity.

• Uphold consistency and precision in accordance with a comprehensive, evolving style guide.

• Contribute to the training data for speech-to-speech AI models.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fluent in English, with a strong grasp of spoken and colloquial language, including contractions, filler words, and informal speech.

• Previous experience in audio transcription, data annotation, or speech/NLP data labeling is preferred.

• Comfortable using annotation and labeling tools.

• Ability to consistently reference and apply a detailed style guide.

• Capable of working independently and adapting to periodic updates in guidelines.
