This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Manage administrative and judicial processes centered on Regulatory Law and Administrative Law.
• Prepare petitions, defenses, appeals, submissions, legal opinions, and other legal documents of medium to high complexity.
• Represent clients in administrative proceedings before governmental agencies, public authorities, and regulatory entities.
• Facilitate meetings with public officials, conduct due diligence, and liaise with government agencies to progress proceedings and clarify requests.
• Engage in hearings, oral arguments, and strategic meetings as necessary.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies that align with the needs of clients.
• Oversee and update internal case management systems and clients’ legal platforms.
• Foster strong relationships with clients by actively participating in meetings, alignment discussions, and presentations of results.
• Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure deadlines are adhered to and deliverables meet established quality standards.
• Generate management and operational reports to track key performance indicators and aid in decision-making.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law and an active membership in the bar association.
• Robust experience in Administrative Law and/or Regulatory Law.
• Experience in managing administrative and judicial proceedings.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Civil Procedure.
• Familiarity with working alongside government agencies, public authorities, and regulatory bodies, including conducting meetings with public officials and performing due diligence.
• Understanding of federal regulations and administrative procedures.
• Experience with both internal and client case-tracking systems.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Docs and Sheets).
• Exceptional communication, organizational, deadline-management, and client relationship abilities, along with a capacity to lead meetings.
• Intermediate proficiency in English is advantageous.
• A postgraduate degree in Civil Procedure is a plus.
• A postgraduate degree in Administrative Law and/or Regulatory Law is a plus.
• Familiarity with government agency and public authority systems (such as municipal governments, PROCON, ANTT, AGU, etc.) is a plus.
• Previous experience in regulated industries is a plus.
