Senior Project Development Attorney, Renewable Energy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist the team in the development of projects within the renewable energy sector

• Work in partnership with clients, CEC colleagues, and other professionals on project development initiatives

• Comply with the Firm’s policies, practices, and priorities

• Execute additional tasks as directed by Firm management

• Prepare and negotiate renewable energy agreements such as EPCs, O&Ms, and PPAs

⛳️ Requirements

• Ideally possess 7-10 years of experience at a law firm

• Preferably have experience in a practice that serves clients in the renewable energy sector and related industries

• Proven experience in negotiating standard renewable energy agreements, including EPCs, O&Ms, and PPAs

• Strong skills in deal management, organization, drafting, communication, negotiation, and analysis

• Team-oriented approach with an emphasis on mentoring junior attorneys

• Proficient in legal research and drafting

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting

• Capable of effectively collaborating in a remote work environment

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities

• Strong organizational and planning skills

• Competence to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously under strict deadlines and pressure

• Admission to the Bar in the applicant’s state of residence and in good standing
