Associate Technical Architect – Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• As an Associate Technical Architect, you will design and architect data solutions.

• Engage in hands-on work with SQL, Spark/PySpark, Python, and Apache Iceberg.

• Utilize and enhance AWS data and cloud services.

• Optimize Spark/PySpark jobs and databases, including Apache Iceberg, ClickHouse, and Aurora PostgreSQL.

• Participate in enterprise greenfield projects that involve application development workloads.

• Provide support for FSI-sector customer workloads and their specific use cases.

• Construct data pipelines that incorporate data virtualization and data governance tools.

• Collaborate with teams and clients to address complex, significant challenges.

• Commit to continuous learning in AI, ML, data, and cloud technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

• Proficient hands-on expertise in SQL, particularly with analytical queries, window functions, and stored procedures.

• Strong practical knowledge of Spark/PySpark, Python, and Apache Iceberg.

• Comprehensive understanding of AWS services including Athena, Aurora RDS PostgreSQL, S3, CloudWatch, Glue Catalog, EMR, Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, SNS, and IAM.

• Proven experience in optimizing Spark/PySpark jobs.

• Experience with database optimization techniques for Apache Iceberg, ClickHouse, and Aurora PostgreSQL.

• Background in enterprise greenfield projects related to application development workloads.

• Familiarity with customer workloads in the FSI sector domain and its specific use cases.

• Experience in building data pipelines that integrate with Denodo and Collibra.

• Exposure to SSIS.

• Familiarity with Terraform and CI/CD tools.

• Knowledge of telco mobile networks is a plus but not essential.
