Associate Specialist, Applications Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design, development, testing, and implementation of software applications and enhancements.

• Create and uphold program code in line with established coding standards and best practices.

• Engage in system integration, testing, and deployment efforts.

• Facilitate the development of APIs, interfaces, and application integrations.

• Provide first-level and second-level technical support for business applications.

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues and defects within applications.

• Aid in monitoring application performance and availability.

• Support the resolution of application bugs, patches, upgrades, and routine maintenance tasks.

• Participate in requirements analysis, design reviews, coding, testing, and deployment processes.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and support materials.

• Assist in release and change management processes.

• Ensure adherence to established development methodologies and governance standards.

• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, testers, and end users to comprehend requirements.

• Help translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Participate in team meetings, project discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

• Conduct unit testing and assist in system and user acceptance testing activities.

• Follow secure coding practices and quality assurance protocols.

• Comply with organizational policies, security requirements, and compliance standards.

• Contribute to initiatives aimed at continuous improvement and process enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Basic knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, .NET, Python, JavaScript, or similar.

• Understanding of databases and SQL.

• Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies.

• Knowledge of source control tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, or GitHub.

• Exposure to web technologies, APIs, and application integration concepts.

• Basic understanding of cloud platforms and DevOps practices is preferred.
