This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a technical expert for Drata’s commercial customer segment, engaging directly with customers.
• Foster retention and enhance technical health within a commercial customer portfolio through signal-based interactions and tailored technical advice.
• Boost customer self-sufficiency and platform adoption by addressing friction points and guiding customers to digital resources.
• Manage a portfolio of accounts, monitoring their technical health and platform usage.
• Identify decreases in health scores, alerts for usage thresholds, and renewal risk flags, proactively reaching out to customers at risk.
• Offer limited-scope technical support for defined integration or solution-related inquiries.
• Collaborate with Customer Success Managers on customer priorities, renewals, and opportunities for expansion.
• Contribute to and maintain the technical modules of Drata Academy, including how-to guides, help articles, and walkthrough videos.
• Create, develop, and present technical workshops and webinars.
• Identify gaps in self-service content based on support trends, escalations, and customer feedback.
• Collaborate with Product and Customer Education teams to ensure digital content remains accurate and up-to-date.
• Acquire a working knowledge of APIs, desktop applications, logging, database architecture, scripting, and documentation.
• Build understanding of identity/SSO, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, MDMs, EDRs, and HRIS providers.
• Assist customers in utilizing Drata’s AI-driven features.
• Stage, replicate, and document platform behaviors and customer issues.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions with Product Management.
• Relay commercial-segment trends to aid product advocacy and prioritize Solutions Architect efforts.
• Support the creation of cross-functional technical documentation and conduct enablement sessions.
• Escalate complex or out-of-scope issues to senior Solutions Architects.
• 3–5 years of experience in a Solutions Architect, Technical Account Manager, Customer Success Engineer, or a similar role in B2B SaaS environments.
• Strong preference for experience in producing technical content, such as help articles, video walkthroughs, or e-learning modules.
• Previous experience in security or compliance-related industries is advantageous.
• Familiarity with AI-driven tools or platforms and a willingness to deepen expertise in AI-assisted compliance workflows.
• Foundational experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure is required.
• Working knowledge of desktop applications and machine architecture across Windows, Mac, and Linux, including Chrome OS.
• Experience with REST APIs and JSON is necessary.
• Foundational experience with JavaScript, Python, or Bash/Shell/Unix scripting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Comfort in presenting to groups in webinar or workshop settings.
• Ability to manage a customer portfolio and oversee multiple content workstreams simultaneously.
