Associate Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders, including officials from both parties in their official roles.

• Report bugs to the engineering team and monitor their progress through Jira.

• Resolve technical issues that front-line support cannot address, such as printer and email problems.

• Execute back-end data updates for clients.

• Oversee production systems to identify problems.

• Acquire skills to debug websites and email newsletters utilizing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Build foundational SQL query skills and enhance advanced SQL capabilities.

• Contribute to data pipeline efforts across data ingestion, engineering, and search processes.

• Conduct data validation and optimization to ensure data integrity.

• Gain practical experience with backend and web application technologies.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, QA, Data, and other R&D teams on cross-functional projects.

• Help develop responsive and engaging application features for both internal and external clients.

• Assist in end-to-end project delivery under the mentorship of experienced team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0–1 years of practical experience in scripting, software development, or equivalent knowledge with modern technology stacks.

• Basic coding skills with a strong desire to learn and develop through software problem-solving.

• Capability to interpret client specifications and determine website user requirements.

• Ability to provide sound recommendations during client and team meetings.

• Proficiency in conveying technical information to non-technical audiences.

• Familiarity with .NET and C#, or other object-oriented programming languages.

• Experience with Angular, Python, MSSQL, and Redis.

• Understanding of cloud environments and Linux/Unix development systems.

• Familiarity with AWS, Bash, and nginx is advantageous.

• Knowledge of building and testing HTML email newsletters across different email clients.

• Interest in Generative AI and LLM technologies.

• Eagerness to learn, explore, and adopt new technologies and development methodologies.

• SQL knowledge is a plus.
