Associate Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Assist the Systems Engineering team in the development, testing, and maintenance of internal applications and services.

• Work in partnership with project managers, business units, and Systems Engineering to implement new features and enhancements.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues.

• Create clean, maintainable, test-driven, and well-documented code following team standards and best practices.

• Engage in testing, documentation, and improving development processes for ongoing enhancement.

• Offer technical support for systems within the Systems Engineering scope.

• Stay informed about advancements in process and software engineering methodologies and technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, Diploma or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience in full-stack development with C# .NET Framework / Core, ASP.NET MVC / Razor, HTML, CSS3, and JavaScript.

• Familiarity with software development IDEs like Visual Studio and VS Code.

• Experience with version control systems such as Git.

• Understanding of fundamental data structures and principles of object-oriented development.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Proficient in spoken and written English.

• Availability to work during CET / GMT business hours.

• Preferred experience of 1–2 years.

• Desired experience in T-SQL and SQL Server.

• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as Azure or AWS is a plus.

• Exposure to development management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira is advantageous.

• Knowledge of Scrum or Agile methodologies is desired.

• Experience with workflow automation tools like Power Automate is beneficial.

• Understanding of computerized system validation concepts is a plus.
