Associate Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Assist the Systems Engineering team in the development, testing, and maintenance of internal applications and services.

• Work in conjunction with project managers, business units, and the Systems Engineering team to implement new features and enhancements.

• Diagnose and resolve issues effectively.

• Produce clean, maintainable, test-driven, and well-documented code in accordance with team standards and best practices.

• Participate in testing, documentation, and continuous improvement of development processes.

• Offer technical support for systems within the Systems Engineering scope.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree, Diploma, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience in full-stack development using C# .NET Framework/Core, ASP.NET MVC/Razor, HTML, CSS3, and JavaScript.

• Familiarity with software development IDEs, including Visual Studio and VS Code.

• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.

• Understanding of basic data structures and principles of object-oriented development.

• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Effective interpersonal and prioritization skills.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

• Passion for staying informed about advancements in processes and software engineering methodologies and technologies.

• 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.

• Proven experience with T-SQL and SQL Server.

• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like Azure or AWS.

• Exposure to development management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.

• Knowledge of development methodologies such as Scrum or Agile.

• Experience with workflow automation platforms like Power Automate.

• Understanding of computerized system validation concepts.

• Proficient in spoken and written English.

• Must be available to work during CET/GMT business hours.
