Associate Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

📋 Description

• Assist the Systems Engineering team in the development, testing, and maintenance of internal applications and services.

• Work in partnership with project managers, business units, and the Systems Engineering team to implement new features and enhancements.

• Diagnose and resolve issues effectively.

• Produce clean, maintainable, test-driven, and well-documented code adhering to team standards and best practices.

• Take part in testing, documentation, and refining development processes for ongoing improvement.

• Offer technical support for systems under the Systems Engineering scope.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, Diploma, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience in full-stack development using C# .NET Framework/Core, ASP.NET MVC/Razor, HTML, CSS3, and JavaScript.

• Knowledge of software development IDEs like Visual Studio and VS Code.

• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.

• Understanding of basic data structures and principles of object-oriented development.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.

• High attention to detail.

• Excellent interpersonal and prioritization skills.

• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Passion for staying updated with process and software engineering techniques and technologies.

• Preferred experience of 1–2 years.

• Demonstrated expertise in T-SQL and SQL Server.

• Knowledge and/or experience with cloud computing platforms like Azure or AWS.

• Familiarity with development management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.

• Understanding of development methodologies like Scrum or Agile.

• Experience with workflow automation tools like Power Automate.

• Awareness of computerized system validation concepts.

• Proficient in spoken and written English.

• Must be available to work during CET/GMT business hours.
